Nothing about us without us

Access and Activism come hand in hand. As someone whose identity falls in various margins, EM is a passionate advocate for equity, equality & justice.

In 2023 they were selected to join the organising committee of London Trans+ Pride. Since then, they spearheaded the Access Consciousness team strand, managing a team of access consultants to promote and facilitate inclusive protest practices.

Before this, as a performer, they always put themselves forwards for the access outreach and educational components of any show they were involved with, including touch tours, integrated BSL, creative captions, relaxed and low and adaptive sensory settings. They have extensive knowledge of Disability access within the creative arts and event spaces. They work as an access consultant and support worker, as well as a welfare and wellbeing advocate for marginalised identities.
